Some Goals
Glenn and Kathy are thinking they will offer to run senior primary mid-week activites in 08
Louise Marshman is offering to help Matt by overseeing Kidzbiz
We need to clarify the identity of the 1030am service - this is not easy, as we don't want to alientate non-family people and singles.
We need to raise the profile of the value of Bible teaching.
We need to 'rebrand' the 1030 service and give it identity
We need to 'own' the 1030 service and commit to its people
We could have a buzzer or speaker outside to announce a clear starting time.
We should make clear why we want to be a church with BOTH good teaching and good other-stuff as well. (Quadrant 4)

Some ways of creating seperate identity...
a) seperate growth groups for 9am and 1030am congregations next year
b) manage the in and out flows between services, with 9am congregation having morning tea on grassed area alongside Ruby Rd.
c) We could go off-site to Mitchelton State School!

More ideas
We need to be conscious of what we are doing and why
We need to work harder on mens ministry - especially a mens night again
We should run one or two family services each year.
We need to run some lunches after the service for those who want to stay
We should encourage people to invite people around for lunch.
We should have more interviews and testimonies

What needs fixing?
Are we an outward looking church, or is the content focused on people who are already growing as Christians? ie established
Open Church more often - though hard getting people to come
Split between content of growth group study and sermon (?)
More application based sermons
Kids should be more involved in service - eg family services, kids talk?
Lack of commitment, consumer attitude
More variety - order of service etc
Is there a sense of belonging?
Need more social things outside 1030am Sunday
Being authentic Christians in society, answering tough questions

Creche - parents staying with kids
Format - parents and childminders and kidzbiz people miss announcments
Start time - everyone not there - fliter in during songs
Rehearsal music makes it hard to know when service actually starts
Lots of people at entrance - distracting, hard to get in

Perhaps a lack of big-picture view of all working together with a purpose
